The Red Bull office buildings are renowned for their high-concept interiors and innovative architectural design, and their new London head office in Covent Garden is no exception. Aftermoving into the newly refurbished office building, Red Bull recognised the need for enhanced security measures at the main entrance, and areas throughout the building.

They outlined three key requirements for their Security Requirements:

1.Preventing unauthorised public access, which had been an issue since occupying the building.
2.Ensuring a physical deterrent to unauthorised entry while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment that isn’t intimidating.
3.Installing system(s) that complements their brand aesthetic.

Besides monitoring and controlling foot traffic, the Access Control & turnstiles would also provide a barrier to stop anyone just walking off the street into the offices.

Four lanes of Fastlane Glassgate 150s were selected to secure Red Bull’s new office. These turnstiles feature a brushed stainless-steel finish, glass panels with dual swing glass barriers, and an integrated touchless access control card reader. The sleek design aligns with the brand, offering robust security without being imposing.

The Glassgate 150s were installed on a floor protector system, specified to avoid damaging the newly refurbished flooring. This solution conceals all cabling and provides a seamless finish that integrates with the refurbishment. To ensure safety and inconvenience, Links Integrated Systems Ltd installed the entrance control system over a weekend, minimizing disruption to employees and ensuring social distancing guidelines were followed.

On all doors throughout the building, 28 in total, ACT Access Control was installed using ACT Pro software to manage the system installed.
